Delivery Information & Packaging

How soon will your order arrive? We are currently taking 2-5 working days, after the purchase date, to get plants out of the nursery WITH the average being sent in 2 days.  We despatch orders from Mondays to Thursdays, which means delivery between Tuesdays and Fridays. We do not despatch on a Friday or the weekend to avoid the plants being in transit for too long. If you require a specific delivery date (excluding weekends) please mention this when ordering.

As per our terms of service, the estimated delivery time for orders shipped via Royal Mail is between 2 to 3 working days from the date of dispatch. Please note that this time frame may vary depending on the destination and any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control as this method of delivery is not tracked. We kindly request your patience and understanding in this regard.

For orders being shipped through DHL, you will receive notifications to keep you informed about the delivery progress of your order. These notices will provide important updates regarding the status of your package and expected delivery dates.

Our current Postage and Packaging for most Mainland UK orders is £8.40 inc Vat. Orders will be sent via a Tracked Next Day Courier Service with DHL. For smaller items there is an option to send via Royal Mail but please note this delivery option is not tracked.

Postage and Packaging for orders to the Highlands/Islands only (unfortunately we no longer deliver to Northern Ireland) costs £18.00 inc VAT. Orders will be sent via a Tracked 48 Hours Courier Service with DHL. We only pass on the delivery costs charged to us for these locations.

We are striving to develop our packaging to be low carbon and a 100% compostable box. In order to achieve this we use brown sustainable cardboard, bio/compostable paper tape, vegetable ink, as well as straw inside the box which is grown and harvested locally. We are aware that some people find the straw can be a little dusty, so please take the plants out, dust the straw off the plants and then the whole box/straw can be placed onto the compost heap (just shred/rip up the box in to small pieces).

We’re conscious of reducing our use of single use plastics, therefore please reuse the plant trays in which your plugs have been grown and sent in. We currently don't have an alternative to grow our plants in that will last the time we need to grow but also will be robust enough. We do extend the life of these trays in that we re-use most of these, so making them not single use anymore. All our old plastic go to be recycled and made in to recycled products such as park benches or boardwalks.
Please share with us any feedback you have about your plants and the packaging using the contact us form.
