Latin Name: Hypochaeris radicata
Description: The bright yellow flower of Common Cat's-ear is similar in appearance to a dandelion, although Cat's-ear generally has a more robust stem. It is widespread and abundant across the UK in grasslands, particularly lawns and amenity grasslands, preferring dry or well-drained soils.

Management: The Common Cat's-ear plant can feature in flowering lawns and benefits from two or three cuts a year.
