Description: A relatively early bloomer, Germander Speedwell plants can be found producing their bright blue flowers along roadways and grassy lanes from April to July. Also found in grasslands and open woodlands, in the UK this plant is only really rare in the Outer Hebrides and Shetland Isles.

Management: Germander Speedwell copes well with cutting due to its creeping nature. It does best in neutral or slightly alkaline soils.
