Latin Name: Lotus pedunculatus
Description: Related to Common Bird's-foot Trefoil, Greater Bird's-foot Trefoil plants inhabit generally damper ground such as wetlands, rush pastures, marshland, rivers, lakes and ponds. It is present throughout most of the UK and Ireland with the exception of a few areas in northern Scotland and central Ireland.

Management: Greater Birds-Foot Trefoil plants like damp grasslands, wet meadows, rush pastures, and water edges. They will grow in a variety of soils but does less well in very dry soils.
