Description: Ragged Robin's deeply-lobed purple petals are a typical sight in wet meadows throughout the UK and Ireland. An inhabitant of damp areas, Ragged Robin frequents marshes, wet woodland clearings and rides.

Management: Ragged Robin plants prefer wet ground. It does best in grassland areas. It can cope with moderately fertile soils. It is very tolerant of being cut as long as it's not in the flowering or seeding stage. Ragged Robin needs to be cut back and cleared after flowering and seeding.
