All our plants are native British wildflowers grown in Peat-free compost in our sustainable nursery.

Latin name : Verbena officinalis

Description: More common in the south and west of the UK, Vervain favours open habitats and bare ground such as waste ground and roadsides. It is a medium sized plant, producing small, delicate lavender flowers from July through September.

Height: To 80cm tall

Flowering time: July to September

Colour: Purple

Management: Vervain is tolerant of a range of soil types, and will grow in any moderately fertile soil, so long as it is damp and in a sunny position. It can also tolerate strong winds.

We assure you that we meticulously inspect the root condition, ensuring their robust health. Once planted, the plug plant will respond accordingly.
