All our plants are native British wildflowers grown in Peat free compost in our sustainable nursery.

Latin Name: Clinopodium vulgare
Description: Wild basil is a weakly scented perennial herb whose leaves can be used in the preparation of food. It is a good colonizer of open ground, and so can be readily found in quarries, waste ground, hedgerows and scrubby grassland across the UK. It produces several pinkish-purple flowers between July and September.
