Description: Red clover occurs in a wide range of grassland habitats, from mountain ledges to sand dunes, through to lawns and urban waste grounds. It's pinky-red flowers are the most familiar of the clovers, with a wide variety of forms being present in different areas of the UK.

Colour: Red or pink
Management: Red clover thrives in well-drained or dry, neutral or alkaline soils. It prefers to be in full sunlight. Red clover stands that are one year old or older should be cut at least 3 or 4 times in a season.
