Snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis) Bulbs In The Green

Our Snowdrops are true native snowdrops grown from seed sourced from our native woodland. We can guarantee our plants are true UK Native species. The snowdrop bubs in the green are about 3 years old and they should flower in their first year after planting. The plants come with bulbs, roots and leaves and sometimes as a small plug. You need to plant the whole plant or whole plug and be careful not to let the roots dry out.

Planting snowdrops ‘in the green’ is the most successful planting method. Snowdrop plants are lifted just before or just after flowering and before the foliage has turned yellow, for you to then replant.

Description: This native wild snowdrop is still found in woodlands, streambanks and roadsides across the UK. The white flowers are a familiar sight in January, sometimes appearing from Christmas onwards in mild winters.
